We had a great time in Fort Wayne, Indiana over the weekend. I got some pretty good photos while we were there and am working on cropping them. We can never go anywhere without some excitement, and this trip didn’t let us down. We went to leave the hotel on Saturday (my birthday) and the van wouldn’t start. 😦 We ended up spending all day waiting for it to be fixed, only to find out that the part was bad and that they couldn’t get another until Monday. Oh joy!
They ended up giving us a loaner ~ free of charge. So we weren’t totally stranded. We had planned on visiting the zoo, but Indiana’s zoo is closed from October until late April. We did visit the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, where I got these shots:
