I recently downloaded the app and after logging in my blog doesn’t show any posts past 2013. I thought the app would help me to post more regularly, but it’s definitely not as user friendly as the actual desktop version. No worries, I can type better on my laptop than on my iPhone any day. 🙂
And now for the afghan I made for hubby as a birthday/Valentine’s Day gift. He was born February 12, so yes, I combined it into one gift. Kind of like a big love letter, only this one will keep him warm.
Next up is my adorable grandson Emilio posing on the afghan his favorite grandma (yes, that’s me!!) made for him.
Believe it or not, Elmo is now just over a year old and I am working on a 2nd afghan in the same pattern for my newest granddaughter Bridgette Danger. And yes, before you ask, her middle name REALLY IS Danger! How many people do you know than can say “Danger is my middle name” and really mean it? My son and his wife both have a great sense of humor. I love that! Her nursery is decorated in…wait for it…..Viking Princess! How amazing is that? I mean complete with the authentic looking wood shield and everything. No cookie cutter stuff for my son, that’s for sure!
Of course, I will be posting a photo of the newest afghan very soon. It’s almost done, just want to crochet 2 more rows on the border. The photo will be minus the baby until the afghan arrives at its destination – Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Should you be interested in the patterns for either afghan, you can find the ABC Bobble (free pattern) here and the Forever afghan (paid pattern) here
